Vintage Melmac Dinnerware Blog Big Hit

I've been so busy this summer with "my real job" as hubby's barbecue promoter that I haven't been posting regularly here on the RetroChalet blog like I should be. My Etsy shop has gone to hell in a handbag, and busy work leaves no time for fun and writing about plastic.  I wanted to thank all my readers because I just noticed my blog has hit over 108K views. That's a lot of people loving melmac dinnerware as much as I do.  There are only 125 posts here on this blog which means some have been read thousands of times.  That is truly amazing!

I thought I'd take this opportunity to tell you what the highest read plastic posts are, to keep you reading until I come back and post again, which will be soon I promise!

The top all time read post is not on melamine at all, but this one on Bolero, Therm-o-Ware , Reinecke and Cornish plastics!

The Next ten top read posts are:

  1. Aloha Cindy I feel guilty that I read your blog and you actually helped promote Modern Plastics on Etsy .... But I have only commented here once.

My blog is suffering the same fate with only three comments for twenty three posts.

I do enjoy your articles so here is an over sized MAHALO for your work promoting Mid Century plastics.

  3. Hi Cindy!
I began collecting Rosti Erik Lehmann designed pitchers about a year ago. As noted in this blog, I have found several different backstamps. I have also found some variations in the same color with identical backstamps. At first I thought this could be due to age or fade, but the bottoms and inside are the same. There can be a slight shade difference in the lots of raw melamine, could this be the case? Is there a record of how many colors Rosti originally produced? Every time I think my set is complete, I discover a slightly different shade. I am also trying to date the different backstamps. You are right about finding the time!
